Since my last post...

This poor blog just gets put on the back burner a lot!  We have been busy but loving this season that we are in.

October was full of lots of fun.

My parents came to visit one weekend and we took the kids to get their pumpkins.

Yes, Alyssah is moody.  You never know what to expect when I get out the camera ;)

We had our annual Pumpkin Carving Party!  I got more pictures on my phone, but here are a few.

Social media!  I loved doing this :)  My friends are awesome!

Here are some of the pumpkins that were carved at the party!  I took this a few days after so some pumpkins are missing.

Sweet girl and her princess pumpkin :)

My little Leonardo!

Ready for trick-or-treating. They had a lot of fun this year trick-or-treating.  We joined some new friends so that made it even more fun :)

We took our Christmas pictures on the hottest day in October!  I was not feeling too jolly, but we got them done ;)  And we took a few others as well.

Love these ladies!

We have some of the best friends in the world.  So blessed and thankful!  We missed the Roberts' and Worsley's!!

Hopefully I'll be back sooner than later.  Have a fantastic weekend!!

Hello Fall

Hello world....I know I've been MIA lately but life has been a little busy!  You would think I would have so much free time because I'm not working full-time, but my little munchkins are keeping me busy.  I loooove being home and just being a Wife and Mommy!

School is in full swing now for Mark.  He is loving it!  He's done so great with changing schools and getting used to 1st grade.  I am very proud of him!  Alyssah and I are having fun being together while he is at school.  We do our on little school curriculum, but it's very flexible.  Some days we don't get to everything and we catch up later in the week.

We are all happy that football is back and the holidays are right around the corner :)  I've already decorated for Fall, and I'm itching to get scarves and boots out...although the weather is not there yet!

This will be our first fall in Birmingham, and I am looking forward to doing activities in our city. The kids got their Halloween costumes this week and can't wait to wear them!

If you are familiar with fall festivities in Bham, comment on what you love to do :)  I need to start researching!

Have a great weekend and War Eagle!!

Fall/Christmas family pictures!

 **Warning...picture overload ahead**
We had some of our very dear friends, Matthew and Jill come visit us this past weekend.  Matthew was so sweet to take some pictures of us.  I think we all had fun :)  Thanks to Jill for being our entertainment too!! haha.  We are so blessed to have yall in our lives.

These are by no means all of the pictures but these are some of my favorites, and yes there are a lot.  Hope you enjoy.  I did not post our Christmas card picture so that will be revealed later :)
Hope you are having a great week!

Painting pumpkins!

The kids painted their pumpkins from the pumpkin patch earlier this week.  I'm so glad they love doing crafts with me :)

Of course Alyssah chose pink for her pumpkin and, Mark chose blue.

They wanted their names on them.  I gave Alyssah some assistance.  She really likes me to write out her name when she colors.  She's trying to be like her big brother a lot these days!

Happy Fall, Yall!  More fall fun-ness to come!  Hope you all have a great week :)

Fall fun!

This weekend really started to feel like Fall here at the Adams'.  Friday night the kids and I had our regular movie night and made a banner to decorate with.  Alyssah is really into coloring right now, and Mark loves to do crafts.

Saturday we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch.  We went to a different patch this year, and I loved it.  It was authentic and the kids had a blast just being outside in the dirt!  We went with some of our sweet friends from our small group too so it was just the perfect afternoon!

my loves!
Before we left for the patch to get more pumpkins! ha :)  We decorated these on Friday night during our craft time too.
Mark and his buddy, Cameron.  His Mommy got some really good pictures so I'll post more later!
playing in the corn and feeding the chickens
I am obsessed with these gorgeous sunflowers!
Hope you are enjoying Fall and all the festivities that go along with this amazing time of year.  Thankful for my family and friends to share it with :)  God is so good!  Have a blessed week!

Fall fashion for little girls!

We've had a taste of fall weather around here the past week, but I'm so ready for it to stay for good!  I was just browsing pinterest today and saw some precious fall outfits for my sweet Alyssah.  I love that she already wants to pick out her clothes...sometimes ;)  It's fun, but also frustrating when she won't pick out anything at all and just stands there staring at her closet.  What will I do when she's a teen?!?

I'm not sure how she will do with hats or scarves this year either.  She doesn't really like wearing things on her head except her bows.  She's got to have a bow ;)  I created a monster by sticking those on her head since her first day on earth. lol  I love it though...she's definitely a Southern belle!

Hope you are getting some fall weather wherever you are you. Happy Wednesday :)
