Lately...

Yet again I have not posted in a while, but hopefully I can catch up by the end of the week! I got 2 Jeremy Camp cds from my hubby for my birthday this year, and they are quickly becoming my favorites. This morning I was listening to one of them (Beyond Measure) on my way to work and thought I would share the lyrics to one of the songs. The song is Beyond Measure (same as the cd) and it is beautiful, both musically and lyrically. He is an amazing artist. Check him out if you have never heard his music.

Beyond Measure

The fog has finally cleared to see,
The beautiful life you’ve given me
To feel the breeze of my newborn’s gentle breath
With one to walk hand in hand,
To share this life that you have planned
It’s like a storybook with dreams
That are meant to see every next step is an extraordinary scene

[CHORUS]
I know that I’ve been,
Given more than beyond measure,
I come alive when,
I see beyond my fears
I know that I’ve been given more than earthly treasure,
I come alive when
I’ve broken down and given you control

I’ve faced a great tragedy,
But have seen the works of what you bring
A display of faith that you give,
I don’t know if I will ever understand
The depth of what it is you’ve done inside,
But I know I won’t find any worth apart from you

Everything that I have
Has been given so unselfishly
And shown that even when I don’t deserve
You always show the fullness of your love

Easter Sunday pictures, etc.

After church Easter Sunday we went to my grandparents' house for lunch and an egg hunt for the kids. While we were waiting for the rest of the family to get there, we took some pictures outside. It was such a beautiful day!

Easter Sunday

Easter morning was fun at our house this year! Mark was sick last Easter and didn't really get into his basket, but this year he loved seeing what the Bunny left him :) I got a few pics of him exploring the contents of the basket.

He finally just dumped everything out. He could see much better this way!

Easter egg dying and hunt 2

Our fun continued Saturday afternoon with our Easter get together at my in-laws. We ate dinner, dyed eggs, and had an egg hunt with the kids. It was so nice to have all the kids together, and I had so much fun with our family! There is never a dull moment :)

Jess and Buffy getting started with the eggs. Gracie was the only one to help the whole time. The other kids got distracted playing.

Mark finally got in on the action. The girls found these egg dying spinner things to use. It is a much cleaner way to dye eggs, and Mark loved it.

All the kids minus Mark at the table dying their eggs.

Having fun with Jess!

The only picture from the egg hunt. He was running all over the place!

Easter egg hunt 1!

Our Easter weekend started off by having an egg hunt at my Maw-Maw's, who is referred to as GG by Mark. GG stands for great grandmother :) Mark joined his girl cousins for the hunt and then we all had lunch together. The kids had a blast, and I enjoyed seeing my family for a bit.

Getting started

He was really good at this game! Next year should be interesting!

Trying to get a picture of the kids...it was the best I could get and luckily Mark was smiling so sweetly :)
