Our visit with Santa 2014

Our Thanksgiving was wonderful!  I loved having both of the kids at home for the week with no schedules and easy mornings :)

We went to a holiday open house in Alabaster the weekend before Thanksgiving and had a little visit with Santa!  This year was a welcomed easy, tear less process...let's just say A hasn't been to fond of Jolly Ol' St. Nick the past year or so ;)

The kiddos had their lists to reference to while discussing their gift ideas.  We did this last year with Mark and it seemed to make things easier and a little quicker.

Mark reassuring sister that Santa was nice!  He's a good brother.

Santa tried to get some of A's sugar but she looked at him like he was crazy...it was cute.  He gave her some love instead.  Daddy was proud of her!

We are enjoying the Christmas season so far and look forward to all the fun to come!  We have started our Advent countdown and I'll share about that later this week hopefully.  Let's get real, it will probably be next week ;)  Have a great week!  Merry Christmas!

Since my last post...

This poor blog just gets put on the back burner a lot!  We have been busy but loving this season that we are in.

October was full of lots of fun.

My parents came to visit one weekend and we took the kids to get their pumpkins.

Yes, Alyssah is moody.  You never know what to expect when I get out the camera ;)

We had our annual Pumpkin Carving Party!  I got more pictures on my phone, but here are a few.

Social media!  I loved doing this :)  My friends are awesome!

Here are some of the pumpkins that were carved at the party!  I took this a few days after so some pumpkins are missing.

Sweet girl and her princess pumpkin :)

My little Leonardo!

Ready for trick-or-treating. They had a lot of fun this year trick-or-treating.  We joined some new friends so that made it even more fun :)

We took our Christmas pictures on the hottest day in October!  I was not feeling too jolly, but we got them done ;)  And we took a few others as well.

Love these ladies!

We have some of the best friends in the world.  So blessed and thankful!  We missed the Roberts' and Worsley's!!

Hopefully I'll be back sooner than later.  Have a fantastic weekend!!

Hello Fall

Hello world....I know I've been MIA lately but life has been a little busy!  You would think I would have so much free time because I'm not working full-time, but my little munchkins are keeping me busy.  I loooove being home and just being a Wife and Mommy!

School is in full swing now for Mark.  He is loving it!  He's done so great with changing schools and getting used to 1st grade.  I am very proud of him!  Alyssah and I are having fun being together while he is at school.  We do our on little school curriculum, but it's very flexible.  Some days we don't get to everything and we catch up later in the week.

We are all happy that football is back and the holidays are right around the corner :)  I've already decorated for Fall, and I'm itching to get scarves and boots out...although the weather is not there yet!

This will be our first fall in Birmingham, and I am looking forward to doing activities in our city. The kids got their Halloween costumes this week and can't wait to wear them!

If you are familiar with fall festivities in Bham, comment on what you love to do :)  I need to start researching!

Have a great weekend and War Eagle!!

May was a REALLY busy month for the Adams family!  Here's a recap :)

Look at that sweet curl and that sweet smile!

 Mother's Day 2014

Ocean Market Day at Mark's school!  The kids earned "money" throughout the year and got to buy things made by other classrooms.  It was so cute!

This is what Mark bought with his money.

A day at the lake with my family and our besties!

End of the year party :)

My last day at work.  How blessed am I?!

April 2014

April was a busy month for us!  Christopher was already in Pelham working so I was doing the single Mom thing with baseball, school, work, and packing going on...Let's just say I'm glad it's over!

Opening day for baseball!

The next weekend, we visited Christopher and went to Oak Mountain State Park.  It is a beautiful place.  I'm sure we will be going there quite often.

Going away party with our small group!  Miss these ladies like crazy!!

We went back to visit Christopher and spent the afternoon at the Galleria b/c it was raining.  Alyssah got to experience Build-a-Bear for the first time.  I had a blast too ;)

Stay tuned for more!!
