Easter 2012-part 2

This Easter we went to church and then had dinner with our sweet new friends, the Shropshires (Shrops).  I  made my 1st ham, and it actually turned out great :)  I forgot to take a picture of it though (boo).  We had a yummy lunch with them at their house, and then several other families from our church &/or small group came!  We had SO much fun!  We are blessed to have some pretty awesome people in our lives.  God is so amazing in His timing and purpose.  I'm thankful for the friends He has placed in our lives over the past few months.  They have been such an encouragement :)  God knew what He was doing when He designed His Church; as His children it is so important to have heart friends to do life with.

Mark's 4th birthday party

This year we had Mark's party at Chick-fil-A and it was great!  The kids got to play, and I didn't have to worry about cleaning our apartment to have everyone there.  There was a lot more room for everyone too!  He had a great turn out, and I think everyone had a good time.  It was of course Toy Story theme, his favorite right now ;)  I also had Toy Story coloring pages for the kids who didn't want to play in the play place or for the ones who got tired.  I can definitely see us having future parties there.  Here are some pictures to document the big day!

Alyssah's 1st birthday party

I just realized I never posted about Alyssah's 1st birthday!  oops...  We had a small party at our apartment with our close friends and family to celebrate A's 1st birthday.  She loved her cake and was loved on by everyone :)  We are so very blessed to have some amazing people in our lives.  Here are some pictures of her big day!

What I'm loving Wednesday!

I have a few things that I'm loving this week, so I decided to do another What I'm loving Wednesday entry :)  I'm so excited Spring is right around the corner.  The kids have the cutest spring/summer clothes that I can't wait to put on them!  I'm also tired of seeing the same clothes...time to switch out my wardrobe and theirs. hehe!  I also love that beach times are ahead.  We are heading back down to visit friends at the beach next weekend.  I'm loving that I get to see this again in a week!

I also love that Easter is right around the corner.  Since Mark is older now, it's so much fun dying eggs and having an egg hunt.  I also love getting the kids all dressed up pretty to take pictures.  It's one of the holidays I make sure we take a family picture :)

I also love that we are having worship at the Highland's tonight!  If you live in Auburn, you should come check us out :)  I'm so thankful God lead our little family there.  The people are precious, and God is really working in this city.  I'm very excited about what's to come.  Here's our website if you want to know more!

Last but not least I love that we are celebrating Mark's birthday this weekend with family and friends!  It's going to be an awesome, fun day :)  I may be more excited than him! hehe!

Also-my birthday is tomorrow, although I don't like the fact that I am another year closer to 30...Life is good though.  I'm so blessed in each year, and I can't wait to see what the Lord does with me.
