I have been overwhelmed lately with how precious life is, and I'm just soaking up as much as I can, esp. with my little ones. Too soon they won't be so little, and I don't want to miss a single thing!! God has given me two of the most precious gifts. These babies couldn't be more different, but they are both so loving and love me and their Daddy to pieces. :) I.am.blessed.

This boy is so kind-hearted and giving. He made these sunflowers for me at school earlier this week because he knows I like them ;) Be still my heart! |
We have so many things going on and coming up. I'm excited but I also get so behind on housework and everyday life. It's gets crazy trying to play catch-up! We have been doing our Thankful Tree again this year, and it looks great! I'll be sure to show a finished picture of it.
As soon as we take it down, I'll be putting up out Advent Calendar. This is our first year doing this. It will be great having a set Bible reading for the night and an activity. I'll be posting on that soon as well. I love having an activity everyday that redirects our hearts and minds on why we celebrate Christmas and not get so caught up into gifts and being self-centered. Jesus and others need to be the center of Christmas. The world's view has tainted Christmas for so long and it will continue to fight for our attention. I'm doing all that I can to keep that away from our home!
I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving and then we are well into Christmas! So excited about this season of celebrating our Savior's birth, but I love taking the time to look back at how much I have to be thankful for. God has provided, blessed, and intervened on our behalf in so many ways. I love taking the time the week of Thanksgiving to reflect and praise Him for that and what's to come. It's fun getting together with family too ;)
